Annabell "Annie" Miller, 72, of Claysville, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. She was born on August 23, 1953, at Washington Hospital, a daughter of the late Frank O. Miller Jr. and Edna "Marie" Leeson Miller. Annie worked for many years as a parking lot attendant at Sunset Beach, where she enjoyed greeting familiar faces. After Sunset Beach closed, she could often be found at Wheeling Park, where she spent much of her time and made lasting friendships. She will be remembered for her warm heart and for the love she carried for her family and pets. In addition to her parents, Annie is preceded in death by her beloved John Francis; her brother, Frank O. Miller III; a sister, Frances Martinkosky; great-niece, Daisy; and fur babies, LuLu and Belle. She is survived by her sisters, Shirley Gullette (Frank) and Marilyn Hawkinberry (Robert); her brother, David Miller (Cathy); her sister-in-law, Jonetta Miller; and her brother-in-law, Jim Martinkosky. She also leaves behind 12 nieces and nephews, 29 great-nieces and great-nephews, 21 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, and several aunts and cousins, all of whom she loved dearly. She will be especially missed by her beloved fur baby, Snowy, also affectionately known as "Mr. Snow." Our earthly angel has been called home to celebrate her eternal life with our Lord and the loving family whom she missed so deeply. While our hearts are breaking, we find comfort knowing she is free of pain and the physical challenges she endured on earth. Even with these challenges, she was rarely seen without a huge smile and a sparkle in her eyes. She loved life, her family, and her friends, especially her nieces and nephews. She has been called a hero to many for her strength and a role model to always stay positive and love everyone. She was blessed with many special friends who deeply touched her life, including: Lenora and the Filby girls, Diane McCord, Bonnie Belcastro, Mr. Tush, Janet Kimble, Dee, Nichole, Lisa, and so many more. The family would like to thank Amedisys especially Nichole and Lisa for taking such good care of her.
