Barbara Rosenberger Obituary
Born July 10, 1939, in Pittsburgh, she lived a life marked by deep love for her family and a generous spirit that touched all who knew her.
Barbara was the daughter of Dorothy and Robert Faulkner and grew up alongside her brothers, Robert, William and Richard Faulkner.
She later married the love of her life, Paul Rosenberger, with whom she shared 50 devoted years of marriage until his passing in 2014. Together they built a strong and loving family that remained the center of Barbara's world throughout her life.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Nancy (Philip) Keller, Paul (Bernadette) Rosenberger Jr., John (Melissa) Rosenberger, and Laura (Paul) Gillum. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Timothy (Lisa), David, and Anthony (Alaynna) Zipparo; John (Amanda), Madison, and Wyatt Rosenberger; Kris (John) Kollinger; and Zoe Gillum. She was also blessed with 10 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.
Barbara was predeceased by her grandsons, Tom Zagorski and Dean Gillum. Though her time with Dean was too short, his memory remained close to her heart.
Known affectionately as "Meem," she had a warm sense of humor and an unwavering dedication to caring for those around her. May Barbara's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 28, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, (724) 745-8120. Interment, with her husband, will be for the family in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
