Betty Mae Wright

Betty Mae Wright, 94, of North Charleroi, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024. Born on February 19, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Katherine Kruell Franks. She was a member of St. Mary's Anglican Church, Charleroi, where she was a longtime Sunday school teacher. She was a retired book keeper for Campbell Transportation Company and had taught aerobics at Center in the Woods. Betty is survived by her son, Warren L. (Sherry) Wright, CVA, CPA, PhD, of Marietta, Ga.; grandsons, Warren L. (Erin) Wright, CFE and Blake Wright, EDS, all of Marietta, Ga.; great-grandsons, Warren H. Wright and Landon J. Wright; nephew, John Gricas, of North Charleroi; niece, Cindy Randall, of North Charleroi; great-nephews, Bryan (Alexis) Randall and Mark Randall; and great-great-nephew and niece, Alex and Thea Randall. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and John Gricas; and she is the widow of Lloyd Wright. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, at St. Mary's Anglican Church, 509 6th Street, Charleroi, with interment following at Monongahela Cemetery.
