Beverly Jane Moore, 78, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in her home in Hockley, Texas.
She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn Knupp Moore of Eighty-Four. Beverly graduated from Canon-McMillan High School and was employed as a C.N.A. at the Greenery in Houston for over 20 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Christina Powell, Marla Melnyk; and son, Gary Melnyk; grandson, Joshua Powell; and granddaughter, Samantha Powell. Also surviving are her brother, Robert (Larry) Moore of Avella; and her sister, Jonquil (Jonie) McConnell of Hockley, Texas, with whom she lived. Her existing family consists of four nieces, five nephews, and their extended families.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Moore; grandson, Michael Melnyk; nieces, Anita and April Moore; and nephew, Richard Moore.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date to be organized by her dear friend, Jeannie Thomas of Washington.
Even though Beverly moved to Texas after she retired, she always considered Eighty Four to be home.
