Chace Johnson Obituary

Chace Jerrel Johnson, 25, of Cokeburg, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024, the result of a vehicle accident. He was born June 5, 1998, in Uniontown, a son of Corey Johnson and Amy Zuzak. Chace was preceded in death by his father. He enjoyed his job at Capstone Logistics, where he became a crew leader. Chace enjoyed sports and was an avid Steelers fan. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Amy Zuzak; brothers, Denzell Johnson, Braden Johnson, and Josh Kiss; sister, Shaelyn Coneway; his girlfriend, Jalayah Brown; uncles, Doug Jellots and Stephen Zuzak; numerous cousins and a host of friends. Also surviving are his grandparents, JoAnn Jellots, Larry Zuzak, and Corey Johnson. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 26, in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of his family.

I knew Chace as a kid in a program where I worked. He was a great kid; funny, smart. He had so much potential, and it looks like he was really flying high. I´m so sorry to his family. -R
