Charles M. "Jr." Yanosky, 75, of Fredericktown, (Deemston Borough) passed away peacefully in his home Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
He was born July 27, 1946, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Charles and Ann Simzisko Yanosky.
Mr. Yanosky was a 1964 graduate of Beth Center High School.
On October 25, 1969, he married the love of his life Bonnie Bane Yanosky, who survives. They recently celebrated their 52nd anniversary.
He was a wonderful husband, amazing father, spectacular grandfather and friend to all.
Charles loved hunting, gardening and maintaining the family farm. Most days you could find him on the lawn mower, playing with the family dogs Stella and Sasha, or relaxing on the porch with the cats Ollie and Penny. He enjoyed watching baseball, football and hockey with his sons and grandsons.
He was a proud mentor to many young men when he was a Fredericktown Youth Baseball coach for more than a decade.
In 1969, he began his paving career with Black Top Paving where he worked his way up to foreman till the company closed. He worked at T.A. Robinson and a few other companies until his retirement in the early 2000s.
He is also survived by two sons Lance (Colleen) Yanosky of Brownsville, Rick (Coleen) Yanosky of Fredericktown; his daughter Lyndee Yanosky of Fredericktown; six grandchildren, Colton, Kenadee, Haley and Jacob Yanosky and Michael and Ashley Gilmore.
He is preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, and eldest son Charles F. Yanosky.
Friends will be received from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home Ltd., 42 Bank Street, at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, where Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 22, with Pastor Frank Menhart officiating.
