David Blauch Obituary

David Allen Blauch, 90, of Washington, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Jean Kerlie Blauch; loving father of Scott Blauch and the late Susan Blauch Clark (surviving husband, Jerry); grandfather of Alex and A.J. Clark; brother of Ruth Hitz, Betty Bossler, Richard Blauch, Rose Rank and Mary Emerick, Having played football in high school and at Allegheny College, he later became a Steelers fan. In college he was in the Air Force ROTC program and was planning on a career as a pilot, but sadly during his senior year, it was discovered that his eyesight was not acceptable enough to fly. However, as he had a great sense of humor and interpersonal relationship skills, he excelled at a career in sales. He was an active member of the Elks when living in Bethel Park. He enjoyed golf and played bridge. Also, he enjoyed playing various card games and board games with family! Services are private.
