Dean E. Shaffer, 75, of Cecil Township, died on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
He was born on May 23, 1947, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Clyde and Lelah Ralston Shaffer.
On July 5, 1986, he married Beverly Keehn, who survives.
Mr. Shaffer is a retired transmission specialist from RUDD Equipment, in Leetsdale. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, who loved his Harley's. He enjoyed target shooting and cowboy western movies. He was a member of the Sons of The American Legion, Cecil, the Granish Club, Cecil and the Cuddy V.F.W.
Surviving, along with his wife, are two daughters, Cassandra (Alex Jr.) Prevade and Cynthia Shaffer; three grandchildren, Ashlie Curcio, Gabrielle Prevade and Alex Prevade III; a great-granddaughter, Victoria Curcio; a sister, Connie (late Richard) Fontanesi; a brother-in-law, Herman (Deborah) Keehn; also many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2023, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, 412-221-3333, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 23rd.
