Donald "Skinny" Pordash, 83, of North Charleroi, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018.
He was born August 1, 1934, a son of the late Adam Steve and Margaret Pordash.
Mr. Pordash was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and was a retired clerk from Thorofare in Charleroi.
He was the best and most loving husband, father and grandfather, and had a special relationship with his granddaughter Chloe, whom he helped raise. She was his best friend, and he held an interest in her basketball games.
Surviving are his wife, Eileen Ray Pordash; sons, Donnie (Kristin) Pordash of Texas and Randy (Tammy) Pordash of Brownsville; daughters, Tina (Bryan) Ricci of Florida and Stacie Pordash of North Charleroi; grandchildren, Ryan (Alison) Pordash, Katie Pordash, Shawn (Danielle) Pordash and Chloe Pordash; great-grandson, Cooper Pordash; brothers, Arthur Pordash and Adam (Claudia) Pordash; sister, Irene Iacobelli; sister-in-law, Alberta Ray; and several nieces and nephews.
He also leaves behind his Yorkie, Rubie.
In addition to his parents, deceased are a son, Billy Pordash; sister, Dolores (Frank) Geleti; his twin brother, Ronald Pordash; and brothers-in-law, Marion Knute Ray and Tony Iacobelli.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Carl J. Spallino Funeral Home, 819 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 7, in Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi.
