Edith Oprosky Obituary

Edith L. Oprosky, 81, of Canonsburg, formerly of Cecil, died Monday, December 28, 2015.
She was born October 12, 1934, in Bentleyville, a daughter of the late Walter and Edith Hilderbrand Markle.
Mrs. Oprosky was a member of St. Mary Parish in Cecil, and enjoyed crocheting, bingo and volunteering at McMurray Hills Nursing Home.
She worked as a prep cook for Kings and was a homemaker.
Surviving are a friend, Rosemary Keefer of Cecil, and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Walter Oprosky; four brothers, Kenneth, George, Walter and Robert Markle; and a sister, Virginia Ealy.
There will be no visitation. Relatives and friends will gather for a Christian Mass at noon Thursday, December 31, in St. Mary Church, 10 St. Mary Lane, Cecil, PA 15321 with Father Stan Gregorek officiating. Private interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.

I'm her niece , Virginias daughter, we had spent time together and she helped me with cats. (Uncle Kenny was notified. He lives in Boston ) I cannot be there but I would if I was in pa. Thanks for taking care of her.

my aunt De De- didn't know her to well until I got older and I would see her at kings and she would chat with me awhile and give me pictures she had of my brothers and sister from when we were young! RIP Aunt De De
