Edith E. Kearns Riggle, 81, of Bentleyville, passed away Wednesday evening, January 6, 2021, at the Monongahela Valley Hospital.
She was born October 22, 1939, in Carroll Township, a daughter of Dewey Ray and Clara Eliza Williams Kearns.
Mrs. Riggle was a member of Edward's Chapel, Ginger Hill and was a former secretary for Lilliput Play Homes.
Her husband, Donald K. Riggle, passed away March 10, 2019.
Surviving are a son, Donald K. Riggle Jr. of Bentleyville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased are a son, Roy Ray Riggle; and four brothers, Russell Kearns, Clair Kearns, Wilber Kearns and Harry Kearns.
Friends are welcome from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday, January 10, in the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255. Her funeral service will follow the visitation with the Rev. Richard Roberts officiating.
Interment will follow in Maple Creek Cemetery, Fallowfield Township.
Due to the current limitations on gatherings, visitors to the funeral home will be restricted to 25 at a time. Facial covering and social distancing are required.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be made to Edward's Chapel, 3111 Route 136, Finleyville, PA 15332.
