Elizabeth Kouklakis Obituary

Elizabeth Kouklakis, 94, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, June 5, 2025, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center, following a brief illness. She was born April 2, 1931, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Petros and Maria Stavrolakis Kouklakis. She was a faithful member of the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Canonsburg. She was a member of the Cretan Club, and the Daughters of Penelope. Liz loved spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed cooking and baking for them, especially during the holidays. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an office manager at Tomsic Motors. Surviving are her brothers, Petras (Janet) Kouklakis of Canonsburg, Steve Kouklakis of Canonsburg; sister-in-law, Patricia Kouklakis; nieces and nephews, Maria (David) Pfaff, Lisa (Chris) Haines, John (Anastasia) Tsinetakes; and hergreat-nephew, Brandon Haines. In addition to her parents, Liz was preceded in death by her brothers, John Kouklis, Michael Kouklakis, and George Kouklakis; sisters, Helen Kairys, Stella Tsinetakes, and Katherine Kouklakis; brothers-in-law, John Tsinetakes and Jim Kairys; and her great-niece, Sarah Haines. Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of services, Tuesday, June 10, in All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Road, Canonsburg, PA 15317. Burial will follow in the Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg. Arrangements entrusted to Sollon Funeral and Cremation Service, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Endowment fund, in Elizabeth Kouklakis's name. Elizabeth was a wonderful lady and very dear friend to Chris, Gina and me.
