Frank Dravetsky Obituary

Frank R. Dravetsky, 73, of Richeyville, died Monday, July 13, 2015, in UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born July 31, 1941, in Brownsville, a son of the late Frank Dravetsky, who was killed June 14, 1945, in action during World War II and Mary A. Sokol Dravetsky, who passed away August 21, 1998.
Mr. Dravetsky was a 1959 graduate of Bethlehem Joint High School. He later attained an associate's degree in drafting.
He was recently employed as a security guard for Corning in Charleroi. He was previously employed by Alcoa in Cleveland, Ohio, and was employed for many years as a salesman for Larry Flynt Publishing Co.
Mr. Dravetsky was a lifelong member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Richeyville.
He was a member of Sons of the American Legion, Bakewell-Phelps American Legion Post 940, West Brownsville.
Mr. Dravetsky was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.
Surviving are two cousins, Barbara Gilbert of Lake Orion, Mich., and Helen Keaser of Central Lake, Mich., and several nieces and nephews.
A public graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 8, in Beallsville Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Grunebach officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville.
