Gary P. Pacini

1950 - 2025

Gary P. Pacini, 74, of McDonald, died Wednesday, February 19, 2025. He was born August 8, 1950, in Monongahela, a son of Pellegrino "Mish" and Sarah "Sally" Mellor Pacini. Mr. Pacini proudly served his country in the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a driver, delivering propane. He enjoyed Civil War history, and supported the American Battlefield Trust. He enjoyed fishing, watching baseball and football, and cutting his grass. On February 28, 1997, he married his loving wife, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Pardi Pacini, who survives. Also surviving are his stepson, Jim (Virginia) Alderson of Canonsburg; sister, Linda Miller of Pittsburgh; his nephew, Ross (Alexis) Miller; two grandchildren, Lauryn and Jimmy; and a great- nephew, Jack Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Pacini. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 24, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, in the funeral home, followed by burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, with full military rites.
