Glenn Whiting Obituary

Glenn Allen Whiting, 57, of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

Glenn was born January 25, 1965, to Marilyn Whiting Fowler and the late Allen H. Whiting.

He graduated from Waynesburg Central High School in 1983.

He served in the U.S. Army and was in the military police unit. He was a Greene County deputy sheriff under Dick Ketchem and a sergeant correctional officer at SCI Fayette. Glenn will be missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, John A. Whiting; stepfather, Jack Fowler; four stepsiblings, Cathi Alexander, Luanne White, John K. Fowler, and Stephen T. Fowler; uncle, Bob Simpson and wife, Pam; and several cousins, stepnieces and stepnephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

A memorial visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m., the time of a memorial service, Saturday, October 15, in Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
