Gregory Caldwell Obituary

Gregory J. Caldwell, 74, of Hickory, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. "Jack" and Elaine Reedy Caldwell of Hickory. Greg was the beloved husband of Judy L. Hickman Caldwell; and a father to David J. (Jennifer) Caldwell and Steven E. (Courtney) Caldwell. He was grandfather to Aiden John, Jackson David, Parker Lee, Paislee Lynn and Payton Katherine Caldwell. Greg was a brother to Douglas S. (Pamela) Caldwell and Michelle E. (Robert) Pintar and an uncle to several nieces and nephews. He was a 1969 graduate of Fort Cherry High School, a graduate of Grove City College in business and received a Mechanical Engineering degree from Point Park University. Greg played several years in an adult baseball league. His other interests included reading, gardening, pickleball and faithfully following the Pittsburgh Pirates. He also enjoyed traveling to Bradenton, Fla. for spring training. Arrangements were entrusted to the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner / Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director. A graveside service was held at Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory, on Friday, October 3.
