James Parry "Clark" Stewart, 75, of Washington, died Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Premier Washington Health Center, after a long battle with dementia.
He was born June 23, 1946 in Sewickley, the son of the late Delbert Lee and Marietta Stipes Stewart.
Mr. Stewart was a 1964 graduate of Chartiers-Houston and was self employed as a carpet installer, with the Floor Store of Washington.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
James enjoyed working on cars, tinkering in the garage, and gardening. He loved to shoot pool.
On June 26, 1993, James married Karen A. Jones Stewart, who died August 23, 2016.
Surviving is former spouse, Shirley Sue Hulbert, of Washington, daughter, Jamie Killen (Harry), of Washington; son, Brian L. Stewart (Kerry), of Washington; daughter-in-law, Holly Stewart, Claysville; sisters, Madeline Sprowls (Robert), Twilight Pollnow (Farrell), and Melody Stockdale (the late Harry); sister-in-law, Sue Stewart; brother-in-law, Joe Dreisdadt; grandchildren, Amanda Pierson (Dennis), Matthew Killen (Caitlin), Morgan Stewart, Kelsey Stewart, Dylan Stewart, Ella Stewart, Alexia Stewart, Jordan Sikora, and numerous additional grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Jada Horner, Brayden Horner, Hunter Pierson, and Riley Pierson; numerous nieces and nephews; step-sons, Brian Jones, and John Jones (Carol); step-daughter, Tracy Sikora (Joseph).
Preceding James in death, in addition to his wife, was a son, Timothy C. Stewart; siblings, Dexter Lee Stewart, Kirma Dawn Long, and Delbert "Monroe" Stewart.
Friends and family will be received at 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022, and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 19th, the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
A celebration of life will follow the service at Arden Athletic Club, 25 Seik Road, Washington PA 15301.
