James Suty Obituary

James R. Suty Jr., affectionally known as Jay and Jim, 52, of Finleyville, died Thursday, May 2, 2024, in AHN Jefferson Hospital. He was born August 3, 1971, in New Eagle, a son of James (Beth) Suty of New Eagle, and the late Linda Moss Kencec. Jim was formerly employed with ER Shaw in Bridgeville, where he worked as a machinist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and building guns. Jim was an animal lover, especially his dog, Zeuss and his cats. Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife, Sarah Moore Suty; sister, Sonya Wilkes of McDonald; his nephew, Tyler Wilkes of McDonald; nieces, Reanna Moore of Weirton, W.Va.; and a large, extended family. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 6, in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., David P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 7. Memorial donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
