Janice Marth Obituary

Janice R. Marth, 79, of Washington, died Friday, July 10, 2015, in Washington Hospital.
She was born October 12, 1935, in Washington, a daughter of the late Bernard and Elvira Baker.
Mrs. Marth was Presbyterian.
She was a graduate of Chartiers High School.
For 25 years, Mrs. Marth was employed in receiving at Gee Bee department store in Washington.
She loved to read and was an avid follower of political shows on television.
On May 29, 1954, she married David J. Marth Sr., who died November 29, 1995.
Surviving are two sons, David J. Marth Jr. and George (Jeanette) Marth, both of Washington; three brothers, Larry (Sandy) Baker of Carmichaels, George (Martha) Baker of Hyattsville, Md., and James (Jet) Baker of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Michael (Jen) Marth, Christina Marth, Ethan Marth and Adam Marth; three great-grandchildren, Julian Marth, William Wyland and Kohl Marth; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a daughter, Rosetta Marth; two brothers, William Baker and Kenneth "Tuck" Baker; and a sister, Marilyn Dragan.
A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of a memorial service, Monday, July 13, in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home, 1290 Jefferson Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Andy Scott officiating.
