Jeffrey Neel Obituary
Jeffrey Allen Neel was born in Washington, on October 13, 1959. He passed suddenly on Monday, April 17, 2023, while on a golf trip in Georgia.
He was the son of Shirley and the late Harvey Kent Neel.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley; brother, Bradley (Robin) Neel; and sister, Leigh Ann Neel. Also surviving are a niece and nephews, Meredith Marie Neel-Jurinko (Joey), Jordan Neel (Kaitlyn), Zachary Neel, and Dustin Neel. His very good golf buddies were Tony Mounts, Jack Holmes and Dave Blom.
Jeff was a 1977 graduate of Trinity High School. He also had a degree in Forestry from Penn State. He was a Double Palm Eagle Scout, a member of Joppa Chapter DeMolay, and a member of Davidson United Methodist Church.
Jeff enjoyed antiquing, yard sales and caning. He was a caring and generous person. He loved supporting the Marianna Mission. Even on this golf trip he was buying toys and clothes for the children at the Mission. Jeff took very good care of his mother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to "Marianna Mission" c/o Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 21 Church Road, Scenery Hill, PA 15360, or Davidson United Methodist Church, 1129 East National Pike, Washington PA 15301.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 25th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 12 p.m., Wednesday, April 26th, with his brother, the Reverend Brad Neel, officiating. Burial will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
