John K. Davin

1955 - 2025

John K. "Jack" Davin, 70, of Waynesburg, passed away at 3:02 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in UPMC Washington, after a brief illness. He was born February 11, 1955, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Miles Davin, Sr. and Ruth Liniger Davin. Jack was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, St. Matthias Parish in Waynesburg. Jack was very active with the farmers market in the region, mainly the Morgantown Farmers Market. He ran the hydroponic farm known as the "Forever Greenehouse" in Greene County for over 20 years. He loved fishing with his son, Casey and he really enjoyed time with his granddaughters and cooking. His wife of 35 years, Terri Gorby Davin, survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Kelsey (Steve) Krauss of Norristown; two granddaughters, Ava and Abigail Krauss; one sister, Polly (Karl) Zeth of Waynesburg; two brothers, Miles "Kissy" (Holly) Davin, Jr. of Waynesburg, Keith (Regina) Davin of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to his parents, are one son, Casey Davin. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., 197 N. Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, Shane M. Ayers, director. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, with Father Frances Frazier as celebrant.
