John "Chico" Samuel Solomon, 61, of Bentleyville, died Thursday, November 17, 2022.
He was born July 21, 1961, in New Brighton, the son of Patricia Ann Fazio, and the late Samuel John Solomon.
A 1979 graduate of Washington High School, where he was a member of the rifle team and cross-country team. He continued his education, earning a master's degree in accounting, from California State College. He was a member of the Beta Sigma Chapter of the Theta Xi Fraternity.
John was the owner / operator of a roofing business. He loved to play pool and played in a league. He was considered a pool shark by some, as he would run the table given the opportunity.
He is survived by two brothers, David Solomon and Daniel Solomon; four sisters, Diane Martin, Janice Jackson, Debra Solomon and Julia Solomon; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Solomon served in the United States Navy. Military honors will be accorded by the US Navy, and American Legion Post 175.
A service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The service is open to the public with guests arriving promptly by 12:15 p.m.

Deepest Sympathy to his family and friends. Heartbreaking news that he had passed away. I knew John since the mid 1980´s and we had many years of great memories..John was a kind soul. Rest With God my friend.

Sad to hear the loss of long time friend, we grew up together and our family's were very close, so i know hear the lost of fellow Veteran and childhood friend , is gone has sadden many heart. prayer to the family, As, us Military's family say he not gone he just faded away.
