Joseph Aggers Obituary

Joseph E. Aggers, 74, of McDonald, passed away, peacefully, Monday, January 22, 2024, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born January 3, 1950, in Washington, a son of the late William and Jane Grimm Aggers. Mr. Aggers live in the Gladden area since 1996 and was a member of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church. A machinist by trade, he had been employed for over 20 years with Suburban Pump in Bridgeville and was presently employed with Best Way Oil. Joe enjoyed hunting, gardening and being with his family. On April 4, 1970, he married Gayle Knupp, who survives after 53 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved sons, Joseph E. Aggers Jr. of McDonald, Matthew S. Aggers of Coraopolis, Benjamin D. (Jessica) Aggers of Washington, and Timothy R. Aggers of McDonald; grandchildren, Hannah and Hayden Aggers, Kaiya Smith, Noah and Wyatt Aggers; brothers, Kenny (Robin) Aggers of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Keith Aggers of Burgettstown; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his sister, Diane Anderson; brother, William Aggers; and stepmother, Theresa Nuccetelli Aggers. Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 2, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner / supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724- 745-8120, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 3, with the Reverend Donald Coleman officiating.
