It´s so hard to put into words of what a great loss this is to our family. Joe was beyond special. He was an anchor in so many ways. He will be deeply missed. Lots of love to Donna, Joe Jr., and Matt.

Oh, Donna, I was so sad to read Joe's obit in the Observer-Today, I was a day behind in reading the paper, or I would have been at the Mass. I have so many fond memories of you all from our "shop" days. I was always amazed by Joe's woodworking talent. He and Bob had a great time refurbishing that shop. I don't drive any more, but would be so happy to see you if you're ever in Washington. My number is 412-997-4593. Thank you so much for the loving memories with you and Joe and the boys. Great memories, God Bless you all. Love, Carole McCarthy and family...
