Joyce Lynn Lund

Joyce Lynn Lund, 71, of Carmichaels, Pa., passed away on May 16, 2025 with her family by her side. She was born on August 27, 1953, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Isaac Newton and Patricia Joy Pollock Lewis. Joyce was a 1971 graduate of Mapletown High School. She was a member of the John Corbly Baptist Church. On July 11, 1974, she married the love of her life, John W. Lund. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Joyce cherished nothing more in life than her family. She fully embraced the role of a homemaker, dedicating her life to nurturing and supporting her husband and children. Joyce was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Ralynn Michelle Geiger (Dean) of Carmichaels; granddaughter, Maggie Hathaway; brothers, Randy P. Lewis (Noreen) of Garards Fort, Barrett K. Lewis (Gayle) of Rices Landing, Isaac N. Lewis, Jr. (Vee) of Garards Fort, Mark E. Lewis (Jennette) of Carmichaels, and Michael A. Lewis (Mary) of Carmichaels; sisters, Donna R. Rodavich (Dave) of Garards Fort, Michelle A. Popernack (George) of Bobtown, Diane Ewart (Ralph) of Carmichaels, and Connie Sherman (Frank) of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, John Paul Lund. No visitation will be held in accordance with Joyce's wishes. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on June 28, 2025, at the Rodavich home, 414 Green Lakes Rd., Mount Morris, Pa. 15349. Condolences may be made to the family at www.yoskovichfh.com.
