Lawrence Molek Obituary

Lawrence "Larry" A. Molek, 84, of Canonsburg, passed unexpectedly Tuesday, July 2, 2024. He was born in Adah, a son of the late Joseph and Mildred Molek, and graduated from German Township High School. In 1993, Larry married the love of his life, Janet, and they lived in Ohio until last year. He retired from Copperweld with 42 years of service and served as an usher at the former Sts. John & Paul Church in Warren, Ohio. He was an avid fan of the Steelers and Pirates, enjoyed NASCAR racing, and polka cruises with Janet. Cherishing Larry's memory are his beloved wife, Janet Stalewski Molek; along with Janet's siblings, Janice Puskarich, Carol (Joey) Panek, Ed (Jen) Stalewski; his children, Lori (Pete) Rapozy, Larry Molek Jr., Mark (Stephanie) Molek, Melanie (Mark) Trostle; his brother Joseph (Lorie) Molek; several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Deniel "DeeDee" Pavlovich. Private family visitation at Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church (St. Oscar Romero Parish), 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery of Saint Mary, Glenshaw. So many memories of going to house to play bumper pool and swim with Melanie. The McDonald´s story when I was so little will always be in my mind. Love and prayers for everyone. You will be missed.
