Lori Dawn Harshey

Lori Dawn "Sugie" Harshey, 45, of Washington, formerly of Slovan, died unexpectedly Monday, May 15, 2017, in Washington Hospital.
She was born October 13, 1971, in Washington, a daughter of Larry (Debbie) Harshey Sr. of Atlasburg and the late Shirley Wilkins Cox.
Ms. Harshey spent most of her life in the Burgettstown area, where she attended Burgettstown High School. She also attended Trinity High School in Washington.
She worked multiple jobs in her life, including at Mac Plastics, where she was a factory worker, as a restaurant server and as a housekeeper at Pittsburgh Airport.
Blessed with a crazy sense of humor, she also enjoyed fishing, Pittsburgh Steelers football and listening to music.
Surviving, in addition to her father, are her companion of 15 years, Richard Yorty of Washington; sons Thomas M. Walters Jr. and Austin D. Walters, both of Burgettstown, and Logan J. Yorty of Butler; grandchildren Kamryn, Zoey and Olivia; brothers Tom McKee, Anthony (Barb) McKee and Larry Harshey Jr., all of Slovan; stepbrothers Gerald Cox and Bill (Amanda) Yeager Jr., both of Burgettstown; sisters Kaci (David) Descutner of Joffre and Cortney Harshey of Atlasburg; stepsisters Kristi (Jorge) Yeager of Houston, Texas, Amy (Troy) Harshey of Washington and Nicole (Greg) Cox of Bulger; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her unconditionally.
Deceased, in addition to her mother, are a sister, Tina L. Markish; paternal grandparents Frank J. and Lillian Ward Harshey; and maternal grandparents Arthur Sr. and Mary Dross Wilkens.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, May 19, in Taucher Funeral Home, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown. Other arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
