Lorna Brennen Obituary

Lorna Lee Kelly Crupe Brennen flew into the arms of her Savior Jesus on Sun, September 21, 2025 due to a tragic accident. She was born March 24, 1952 a daughter of the late Bernard and Thelma Kelly. She was amazing at anything she did, it was always done with her whole heart. Her work ethic and meticulous organizational skills were phenomenal. From a very young age she worked extremely hard in potato patches, gardens, cutting trees and helping her mom with her younger sisters. She volunteered for everything everywhere to help with anything. She was married at a young age to the late Butch Crupe. They had two daughters Tammie Jo (Jim) Moore and Melissa (Joe) Ealy. She remained a widow for quite a few years and got the second chance of a lifetime to find happiness with her soul mate Robert "Bob" Brennen. They complimented each other and the joy they found in life was beyond measure. Also gaining another son Mark Brennen. Surviving eight grandchildren that she adored and they cherished their "Grammy"; Amber, Ricky, (Savanna), Cody (Morgan), Ashley, Christopher, Kaden (USMC), Malachi and Jacob. She was so proud of each and every one of her grandchildren. Four great-grandchildren are also cherished and added bonuses; Gracie, James, Parker and Memphis. Also Oaklynn May is on the way. She went back to work after retirement to Kennywood giving her paychecks to others, never keeping for herself. This is a woman that lived FAITH, FAMILY FRIENDS to the end. Everyone who know her were blessed!!! She also leaves behind two sisters Susie and Dolores, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews, more friends than anyone could count. In addition to her parents and first husband, she is preceded in death by three sisters Mary Lou, Eleanor and Bernadine. Please help us carry on her spirit of giving, not only monetarily, but of your time and love. In lieu of flowers a gofundme has been set up to carry on her legacy of giving; gofund.me/e24d1d2c8 or search lorna lee gives on gofundme.com. She LOVED the holidays especially Christmas, so feel free to wear your favorite Christmas attire to the funeral visitations and services. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Avenue in Washington. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11: a.m. Friday September 26, 2025. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens in McMurray, PA.
