Mark Copeland Obituary

Mark Allan Copeland, 74, of Nottingham Township, passed peacefully, with family by his side, Sunday, February 19, 2023.

Born March 14, 1948, he was a son of the late Julia and Marcus Copeland.

He was the beloved husband of Gaeta Copeland for over 46 years; loving father of Mark Allan Copeland II; dear brother of Kevin (Linda) Copeland and Fran (Kim) Pietrowski; also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mark was a car enthusiast, he was always racing and was a proud member of Sports Car Club of American (SCCA). He enjoyed tinkering with cars, he even built two of his race cars from the ground up.

He graduated from Morgantown High, Class of 1966. Mark was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served during Vietnam. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Autism Society at autismsociety.org, or The Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 PA-136, Eighty Four, PA 15330.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray.
