Matthew Aaron Orbany, 35, of Washington, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 13, 2023.
Born in Washington on May 16, 1988, Matthew was the son of Dee Anne Caudell and John Jeffrey Orbany.
Matt enjoyed watching movies and numerous different T.V shows, including WWE, of which he was a big fan. Being interested in politics and worldwide news, Matt was always able to inform those around him on current events.
Matt was a high school graduate of Beth-Center School District in 2007, and he was enrolled in a medical associate degree program located in Connellsville.
In addition to his parents, Matt is survived by his sister, Ashleigh Marie (Frank) Urso; his grandmother, Suzanne M. Orbany; his aunts, Vicki Frost, Janine (Walter) Saxon and Darci (Joseph) Stokes. Matt is also survived by his two nephews and numerous cousins.
Matthew is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Orbany Jr.; grandmother, Joanne Caudell; and his great-grandparents, Ray and Doris Conlon, and Joseph R. and Ann Holepit.
Friends and family will be received at the Novak-Melenyzer Funeral Home, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA 15417, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. The funeral service will be held inside the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023, doors will open at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
