Michael Joseph Conte

Michael Joseph Conte, 47, of North Strabane Township, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 15, 2025, in his home. He was born April 5, 1978, in Pittsburgh, a son of Mark (Sherry) Conte of Washington, and Clara Lynne (Randy) Sivell of Lagrange, Ga. Michael loved his children and enjoyed helping them with their school projects. He lived for his grandson, Kyren and always enjoyed being home for Kyren's bath-time and bed-time routines. He also enjoyed poker night with his co-workers and friends. Michael loved movie and game night with his family. Michael was an excellent electrician who was unsurpassed in his work ethic and capability in getting the job done. He was employed by Shultz Electric, who recognized him as their best electrician. He enjoyed history, science and space, and loved to cook up a good meal. Time at the beach and taking care of family brought him his greatest joy in life. Michael was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church while living in Lagrange, Ga. and then Life Church in Washington. On June 28, 2008, in Lagrange, Ga., he married his beloved wife and soulmate, Jennifer Leigh Welborn of Lagrange, who resides in North Strabane Township. Surviving are his girls, Haleigh Welborn-Conte, Bella Conte and Mallie Conte; and grandson, Kyren. Also surviving are his sisters, Christina (Cody Warren) Conte-Warren of Lagrange, Kelly (John) Blicha of Erie, Amy Palma of Lagrange, Kelly (John) Andrews of Lagrange, Crystal Valperga of Washington; and a sister-in-law, Kim (Steven) Harris of Cape Coral, Fla.; and several aunts and uncles, cousins and many beloved nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog. ,"Luna".
