Michael Maley Obituary
He was born August 17, 1955, in Waynesburg, a son of Kelso Jr. "Ron" and Eva Mae Shoup Maley of Waynesburg.
Mr. Maley was a 1973 graduate of Waynesburg High School.
He was employed as a surveyor for United Construction Inc. in Indiana and worked for Hartmann Associates Inc. in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Maley enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with his family. He was associated with Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church of Waynesburg.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Frank (Wanda) Maley of Salem, Ohio, and Scott (Janice) Maley of Robbins, N.C.; a sister, Sharon Nichols of Jefferson; two nieces; four nephews; two great-nieces; and a great-nephew.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, with the Rev. Rick Croyle officiating. Interment will follow in Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg.

Although I only knew Mike through my husband Mark , they worked together many years. I got to enjoy his company when eating dinner or breakfast when I was with my husband . He always had a smile and just made you happy to spend time with him. Prayers to his family . He will be missed by many.

The last time I saw Mike he was uptown in Waynesburg and we talked for a few minutes. Mike was smiling and happy . Today he's with Jesus and all is well !!! He will be missed.

I am so sad to hear of his sudden passing. He was such a nice man. I had been around him several times at family gatherings at Jan and Scott's house. What a loss to his family, friends and the community. He will be missed.
