Nancy A. Diamond, 74, of Midway, passed Thursday, April 28, 2021.
She was born September 4, 1946, in Sturgeon, a daughter of Charles J. and Edna M. Ward Cogniet.
Nancy was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School Class of 1964. She worked for Spiegal Dental group as a dental assistant. Nancy then worked as a cashier at Giant Eagle in McDonald.
On August 1, 1964, she married Andrew Diamond, who survives.
Mrs. Diamond was a member of the McDonald Presbyterian Church, where she was a former deacon. She loved cooking, reading and most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving are four children, Andy (Suellen) Diamond Jr. of Midway, Karen (Michael) Decker of Orlando, Fla., Keith Diamond of Midway and Melanie Diamond of Midway; a brother, Joseph (Patty) Cogniet of Westland; six grandchildren, Adam and Klarrisa Diamond, Alex Nemec, Katie Speer, Carolyn and Courtney Blaine; one great-granddaughter, Adalyne Blaine.
Deceased are an infant daughter, Sandra Lynn Diamond; and a sister, Rose Marie Bull.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 30, in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057. Services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 1, in McDonald Presbyterian Church, Calvary Center. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
Memorial contributions are suggested to McDonald Presbyterian Church, 119 Station Street, McDonald, PA 15057, or Heritage Public Library, 52 4th Street, McDonald, PA 15057.
