Nancy Ann Emery McClure

Nancy Ann Emery McClure, a longtime Eighty-Four resident, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Canonsburg. She was 93 years old. Nancy was born November 6, 1931, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Lorenzo W. and Mary Leona Sills Emery. In 1936 she, along with her family, moved to Eighty-Four, where she resided her entire life. She attended Somerset Township Elementary School and East Washington High School. Nancy was a member of Emmanuel United Presbyterian Church at the time of her death. Previously, she had been a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church of Thomas. She enjoyed singing in the choir. On April 11, 1951, Nancy married Robert C. McClure, who died in July of 1995. Surviving are a son, Robert W. McClure of Eighty-Four; a daughter, Amy L. Hoy of Washington; seven grandchildren, Nathan Hoy, Sara (Chad) Zrimsek, Erin Hoy, Jennifer (Joel) Gildea, Jessica (Andrew) McClure Archer, Jared (Christy) McClure, and Jillian McClure; nine great-grandchildren, Evan and Camrynn Archer, McKenzie, Madison and Miles McClure, Olivia Hoy, Scarlett Zrimsek, Emma and Bryson Gildea; along with three stepgreat- grandchildren, Matthew, Mayleigh and Macy Zrimsek. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lee Hamilton; and brothers, Lorenzo W. Emery and James C. Emery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 19, in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenue, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, owner / supervisor, Holly Renay Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, in the Emmanuel United Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four, with Pastor Fran Skariot officiating. Interment will be private.
