I am so sorry for your loss. He was our music teacher at Rogersville Elementary in the late '60's (and probably the other 4 elementary schools as well). I had not heard of his passing until I was looking for someone else's obituary.

I am so sorry to hear of Nelson's passing. I got to know Nelson when he was the van driver that drove my mom to dialysis, he was very kind and would assist mom to the van . He was a compassionate and kind person. Then he later sang in a Doo Whop group with me later, he was very talented. God rest your soul dear friend. Sympathy to Bernie and family.
