Nora Oriskovich Obituary
She was born March 31, 1946, a daughter of the late Ferdinando and Elizabeth Fratini.
Mrs. Oriskovich was a 1964 graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown.
She worked in the meat department of Petrucci Market in Burgettstown for 30 years before working for Dollar General in McDonald.
Mrs. Oriskovich was a member of Steel Valley Bowling League in Weirton, W.Va., and also enjoyed traveling to different casinos.
Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Michael William Oriskovich; a son, Keith Gilles of Cecil; two daughters, Tammy Gilles and Amy (Michael) Dhans, both of Bulger; two stepdaughters, Melissa Law and Tammy Oriskovich, both of Aliquippa; a sister, Ruth (Pete) Hanley of Bethel Park; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of a blessing service, Tuesday, August 11, in Nation Funeral Home, 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Nation Funeral Home on behalf of the Oriskovich family. Condolences, photos and more information may be found at www.nationfuneralhome.com.

Nora - I've been blessed to call you a part of my family for the past 15 years. I will miss you, your laugh and your carefree demeanor. You were one of the hardest working women I have ever known - it's time for your break Nora! Visit those casino's in the sky!
Tammy, Amy and the rest of my family - Remember this, death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Whoever you hold in the heart of you, is forever and always a part of you. While everyone is mourning her, remember that someone is welcoming grandma Nora with open arms at Heaven's gate!!

Mike I know how much you loved Nora & I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. Nora will always hold a special place in all our hearts. She has left me with wonderful memories. Nobody made better homemade gnocchis than her. Our hearts are all very heavy now with the news of her passing. I will forever cherish the memories she has left with all of us. May god hold you in the palm of his hand during this most difficult time.

Hey Nora...whatchou doin' girl? OH my, I was totally floored when I read about you here in the Washington,PA on line here in South Carolina. We have been freinds for a lifetime, thru high school and all the crazy times there in our shared classes and at the store when you and I used to talk so much and wonder when Jim was going to come around the bend? I'll miss you my dear dear freind and all our talks and good times...May God be with you Nora and RIP sweety...........
