Patricia Irene Devore Newman, lovingly known as "Hazel," 74, of Washington, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 17, 2018, in Washington Hospital.
She was born February 6, 1944, in Washington, a daughter of the late Dane Devore and Irene Lycett Devore.
Patricia was a 1962 graduate of Trinity High School and graduated with her associate's degree from Penn Commercial.
She most recently worked at Caring Mission as a caregiver.
Patricia was past president of Rebekah Assembly and a member of Gladys Rebekah Lodge 103.
She enjoyed relaxing at her camp.
Surviving are a daughter, Cammy S. (Mike) McAdams of West Finley; son J. D. (Jerry) Sumney of Washington; two sisters, Judy McCartney of Washington and Gail (Steve) Brezinski of Washington; four grandchildren, Joy Wise, Michael (Amanda) McAdams, Matthew (Samantha) McAdams and Robert (Patty) Ferri, all of Washington; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Liam and Mickey McAdams; and her companion, Francis Watt of Washington.
Friends will be received from noon to 3 p.m., the time of service, Sunday, May 20, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
