Richard DiMarzio Obituary

Richard D. DiMarzio, 79 of Ellsworth, PA passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025 in the VA Healthcare System, Pittsburgh. Richard was born on October 3, 1945 in Charleroi, PA a son of the late Angelo and Carmilla Constable DiMarzio. After graduating from Ellsworth High School, he honorably served in the United States Army and was a proud veteran. From there he went on to spend 30 years working various jobs in the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Mill. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was also a former trapper. He is survived by his daughter Stacie Dziak of South Park; four grandchildren, Cami Dziak (fiancee Matt Kent), Heidi, Luke and James Dziak; and one great-grandchild Lilly Dziak. Richard is predeceased by his parents and his faithful companion Patches. Funeral arrangements were held privately and under the direction of the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA. Interment took place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies; Military Honors were accorded by the Washington American Legion Post 175 and the U.S. Army.
