Robert Bryan Obituary

Robert E. Bryan, 96, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, in his home, with his wife by his side. He was born November 30, 1928, a son of the late Frank Bryan Sr. and Goldie King Bryan. Bob graduated from Waynesburg High School in 1947, and was a graduate of Waynesburg College obtaining a B.S. in Education. After graduation, Bob served as an M.P. in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. Mr. Bryan was employed in administration at U.S. Steel in Homestead and McKees Rocks for over 30 years. He was a member for over 50 years with the Ten Mile Yacht Club, a lifetime member of Waynesburg Elks, and a 32nd degree Free & Accepted Masons and Syria Temple. Boating, golfing, both snow and water skiing, swimming, traveling and entertaining friends were among his favorite things to do. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 73 years, Norma Lee Bryan - the two were never seen apart from each other; nieces and nephews; and several close friends. Bob was the last of his immediate family Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his sister, Evelyn Lightner; brothers, Frank Bryan Jr. "Buck", Jack, and Gene Bryan. Bob's family would like to thank the OSPTA Home Hospice Service for the excellent care he received. As per Bob's wishes, there will be no funeral or formal service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville. A guest book is available at www.GreenleeFuneralHome.com
