Robert Marin

Robert Marin, 80, of Muse, died Thursday, May 2, 2024, in his home. He was born July 8, 1943, in Muse, a son of the late John and Susan Drost Marin. Robert was a faithful member of St. Oscar Romero Parish. He attended both St. Patrick Church and Holy Rosary Church, and he was active with the Catholic Men's Club. He enjoyed fishing. Prior to his retirement, he worked at McGraw Edison. On June 13, 1975, he married his wife, Sarah Fields Marin, who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Jason Paul Marin of Muse, Robert Michael (Kimberly) Marin of Texas; daughters, Melissa (Mark) Williamson of Meadow Lands, Brenda Sue (Carl) Gaskill of Washington; his brother, Eugene Marin of Muse; and sister, Diane (Mitch) Sutherland of Eldridge, Iowa; his grandchildren, Carl, Patrick, Emily, Haley, Matthew, Krystal, Chelsey, Abrielle, Mirielle, Jordan, and Eric. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas, Bernard, Anthony, Edward, David, Richard, Frank Marin, John Marin; and sisters, Barbara Woodruff, Mildred Marin, and Catherine Marin.
