Robert McConnell Obituary
He was the beloved husband of Lana O'Neill McConnell and the late Janet Pizzi McConnell; dear father of Robert (Lisa) McConnell II and Elizabeth (Vince) Scavo; stepfather of Sean (Billie Jo) O'Neill and Scott (Heather) O'Neill; loving grandfather of Logan (Rebekah), Lauren, Molly, Zachary, Joshua, Jordan (Jake), Quinn, Ian, Chadwick, Hollie, Nicole, Ashley and Michael; and great-grandfather of Mason and Connor.
Deceased are his brothers and sisters.
Mr. McConnell retired after 41 years from UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh, where he was head of the physical therapy department.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Township, PA 15220, where a funeral service will be held at noon Friday, February 5.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
