Uncle Robert, we saw the wings of an angel in the sky today as we laid you to rest. Such joy, after so much sadness, fluttered in my heart. I feel so very blessed to have had you in my life. You have been an uncle, a friend, and a confidant all through my life. Rest in peace you wonderful man and know you are loved, and missed by all. Your battle is over and victory is yours..

Good humored (though stern when needed)minder of our mischievous childhood. Trickster who was forever "stealing" my nose. Laughing, loyal, loving brother to my Gramma Dorothy and all his siblings. Much loved uncle and great-uncle. He's left a gap that will never be filled, but he's also left a wonderful family tree that's strongly rooted. Peace and comfort to you all.
With love and fondest memories from me and my family
