Robert Piacenza Obituary

Robert Lee "Bob" Piacenza, 80, of Washington, passed away peacefully, in his home, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born September 12, 1944, in Washington, a son of the late Matthew and Blanche Yusko Piacenza. Bob was a graduate of Chartiers Houston High School and was employed as a teacher at Burgettstown High School for 35 years, from where he retired. He was a member and Past Master of Washington Lodge No. 164 Free & Accepted Masons and was a 33rd Degree Mason. Bob enjoyed tractor pulling and hunting and was a member of the Antique Tractor Pulling Association of Washington. He also had a real love for Farmall Tractors. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and loved traveling with his wife. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Dickey Piacenza; a daughter, Melissa (Adam) Pochiba; two stepdaughters, Carrie (David) Miller, and Justine (Darryl) Cerenzia; three stepsons, Chuck (Carrie) Dickey, Jason (Lori) Dickey, and Jeff (Jackie) Dickey; two sisters, Marolyn Piacenza and Katherine (Dennis) Duffy; 11 grandchildren, Alexis (Caleb) Brown, Erika Miller, Garrett Miller, Cassie Dickey, Travis Dickey, Kelci (Robert Leoni) Dickey, Jessica Dickey, Jason Dickey, Katarina Dickey, Dillon Cerenzia and Brandon Cerenzia; three great-grandchildren, Peyton, Mia and Theo; and a niece, Meghan (Eric) Starr. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a brother, Bud Piacenza. All funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenues, Washington, S.
