Rosemarie Masiyowski

Rosemarie Masiyowski, 87, of Washington, died Monday, November 16, 2015, in Washington Hospital.
She was known as "Marie" to her family and friends, and "Grandma Choo-Choo" to her grandchildren.
Mrs. Masiyowski was born January 13, 1939, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Fred and Rose Stein.
She was a 1946 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School.
The love of her life, her husband of 65 years, Pete Masiyowski, survives.
Mrs. Masiyowski was the devoted mother of two children, daughter Becky Papson and son John (Marylou) Masiyowski, and dearly loved by grandchildren Greg (Natalie) Papson, Mike (Melissa) Papson, Sabrina (Ben) Foote and Nik Masiyowski, and great-grandchildren, Ben, James and Abby Rose and Rachel Eleanor-Marie.
She was a devout Catholic and member of Immaculate Conception Parish.
Mrs. Masiyowski enjoyed family parties, feeding the birds off her porch, shopping at her favorite stores and the time spent with her children and grandchildren. All those blessed to know her will miss her infectious smile, kind heart and bags of candy.
At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 19, in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington. Those wishing to attend the Mass are asked to go directly to the church. Entombment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to John F. Kennedy Scholarship Fund, JFK Catholic School, 111 West Spruce Street, Washington, PA 15301.
