Ruth Evelyn Georgetti, 89, of Avella, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
She was born on January 7, 1932 in McDonald, daughter of the late Roy and Evelyn McMillen Wilson.
Ruth attended Avella High School and was a member of Cross Creek Valley Senior Citizens.
Ruth was a dedicated and hardworking mother of seven. She loved to cook for her family, and everyone knew that she could make anything taste good. Deer season was a holiday for Ruth.
She enjoyed visiting with family and especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her children were blessed to have her as a mother.
On June 4, 1949 in Winchester, Va., she married Albert John "Patch" Georgetti, who passed away on August 5, 2001.
Surviving Mrs. Georgetti are, a daughter, Cindy Georgetti of Massillon, Ohio; four sons, Tom (Cynde) Georgetti, Sam (Judy) Georgetti, Jody (Juanita) Georgetti all of Avella, Dude (Tammy) Georgetti of Wellsburg, W.Va.; daughters-in-law, April Georgetti and Myrna Georgetti; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
Deceased in addition to her husband of 51 years and parents are; two sons, Kenneth and Rowdy Georgetti; a grandson, Jimmy Bauduin; and a brother David Wilson.
All funeral arrangements are private and being handled by Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., Avella.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sugar Run Stables LLC., Memories in the Makin' Therapeutic Riding Facility at 1016 Sugar Run Road, Avella, PA 15312. This non-profit organization, for people with special needs, the disabled and veterans was very dear to Ruth's heart. She was the proud sponsor to a young rider at the facility.
