Sandra L. Rock, 82, of Meadowlands passed away peacefully, Sunday July 2, 2023, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born October 5, 1940, in Washington a daughter of late John Cecil and Helen Rose Miller Harvey.
Mrs. Rock lived the past 55 years in Meadowlands and was a devoted member and daily communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church St. Oscar Romero Parish, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and Guild.
Sandra was a Registered Nurse, being employed for many years in the Canonsburg Hospital Emergency Room and prior to her retirement served as Assistant Director of Nursing with the Presbyterian Medical Center.
On February 27, 1952, she married Richard A. Rock who survives after 61 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish her memory is her son, Brian J. Rock of Meadowlands; her sister, Rosemarie (Michael) Muscarella of Van Nuys Calif.; several nieces and nephews and her dog Max.
Deceased in addition to her parents is her sister Shirley Mae Morris and her brother David John Harvey.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday July 7, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will be recited at 9:25 a.m. Saturday July 8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church St. Oscar Romero Parish, Meadow Lands. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Canonsburg.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your sister Sandra. During various visits back home, while attending Mass at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, I noticed Sandra was often on the prayer list. While she and I never met, I know from speaking to you many years ago how much she meant to you and your mom.
