Shannon Morrow Obituary

Shannon Lee Morrow, 52, of Greentree, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 13, 2025, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born November 8, 1972, in Mt. Lebanon, a daughter of Lois "Loie" Wiltse Morrow of Bethel Park, and the late Howard G. "Mike" Morrow. Shannon was a free spirit with a loving and giving personality, who was always ready to give a helping hand. She had always been a very hard worker and had been the proprietor of Blue Paws Pet Sitting in Bridgeville for eight years and was owner of Black Horse Antiques at the time of her death. Shannon loved caring for animals and especially liked horseback riding. She enjoyed Renaissance festivals, antiques, Sponge Bob, beachcombing for sea glass, and hunting for shark teeth. On January 13, 2000, she married Douglas R. Kerley, who survives after 25 years together. Also left behind to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband and mother, are her beloved daughter, Taylor Linke of Pittsburgh; her sister, Kerry (David) Craig of South Park; her niece, Alana Craig; and nephew, Ryan Craig. Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 17, with services at 5:30 p.m., in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, (724) 745-8120. To view or extend condolences, please visit www.salandrafunerals.com

God bless you all, prayers and hugs to my other family.
One of my many and fondest memories of Shannon, was the laughter we always had, to the fact that I was allergic to her. It never failed when I was ever near her, I sneezed like crazy. We joked about it all the time. The camping trips when we were younger, and an occasional sister fight. Because when we were growing up we were like sisters. Just like I am still with her beautiful sister, Kerry. As time pasted, Mom, Kerry and I would take about Shannon frequently, and she still remained in my heart and prayers. The world has a beautiful new Angel to watch our us all.

Shannon took care of my dogs at Blue Paw. She was always so caring. I know she loved her animals. My condolences to her family.
