Wayne Smith Obituary

Wayne Alan Smith, 57, of Marianna died Thursday, August 21, 2025 in the Washington Hospital. He was born October 23, 1967 in Washington a son of Donald Wayne and Marjorie Lee Miller Smith of Marianna. He was 1985 graduate of Bethlehem Center High School and then received an Associate degree from ICM Pittsburgh in 1988. He was employed at All Clad, Canonsburg, until his retirement in 2009. He was a member of Highland Brethren Church, Marianna Field and Stream, Marianna Lyceum, and Dry Tavern Sportsman Club. Wayne loved to bowl, he was on many local bowling leagues. He was a faithful fan of Nascar, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved to spend time with his wife and family. He married Nola C. Kerley on February 9, 2001. He is survived by two sons, Daniel Smith of Charleroi and Scott Maskil (Courtney) of Crucible and one daughter, Heather Benson (Chris) of Pittsburgh; one sister, Shani Smith (Wade) of Marianna; five grandchildren Eli, Wyatt, Sabastian, Scotty and Cecelia; and one niece, Kelsey. At the request of the deceased there will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by Nichol Funeral Home Marianna/Washington.
