Duane Lewis Harper, born May 6, 1943 in Yonkers, New York
Left the bonds of earth April 16, 2015 at the age of 71 years at his home in Huffman, Texas surrounded by the ones he loved including his beloved dogs.
Mr. Harper was predeceased in death by his brother Donald L. Harper, father John Henry Harper and mother Margaret Schoech Harper.
Mr. Harper was survived by his niece, Cody Van Heerden, nephew, John H. Harper, Stacey Vagg, Phillip Vaag, and several great nieces and nephews.
Duane served in the U.S. Navy with honor. He lived his life in joy, loving freely and generously giving of himself and his means.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 4:00 pm, in the chapel of Darst Funeral Home, 796 Russell Palmer, Kingwood, Texas 77339.
