Blanche Lowman Obituary

Blanche Louise Simmons Lowman, 95, was born on September 11, 1929, to the late David E Simmons and Bessie Mae Huffman Simmons. Blanche passed away on June 20, 2025, at Conover Nursing and Rehab. Blanche was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Newton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Edward Eugene Lowman; son, Ronnie Lowman; brothers, Ross Simmons, Carl Simmons, Howard Simmons and Fred Simmons; sisters, Nancy Little and Lorene Herman; and a grandchild, Crystal Hamrick.

Blanche is survived by her son, Gary Simmons and wife Kathy, daughter, Pam Clark and husband Teddy.
A visitation will be held at 10am on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, prior to the service.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11am Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home with Reverend Ralph Kraft officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Newton NC and or to Carolina Caring.

Dude was a distant family member.My grandpa Roy Simmons is how we were connected . Mom Shirley and I were sorry to hear of your loss.I remember her being a lovely soul. May God give the family grace and peace.
